The BSE Sensex is currently trading at a PE multiple of 22.98 compared with its five-year average of 18.80, which indicates overvaluation of the market, data available on corporate database Capitaline showed.
But Porinju Veliyath does not think so. Doing number crunching and using traditional methods to measure market valuations are not valid anymore.
